Volunteers of the Month: Ashley Turner
Ashley Turner
Ashley joined Nourish LA for her first Sunday distribution in December 2025, and in less than a year, she has become a familiar and valued presence onsite.
Ashley is a true friend to everyone who comes through our site, connecting with volunteers and recipients alike. She shines on our distribution line, her favorite shift to work – if you ask her, she’ll say her hobby is bringing people together! She brings enthusiasm, care, and grace to each shift, and will happily teach you about algorithms in between. We are lucky to have Ashley’s help on site so often, and we thank her for all her dedication!
“I would encourage everyone to be curious and to not assume that things have to [remain] the status quo. You can always make something better.”
— Ashley Turner, 2026
