Fundraising Campaigns
Fruity FridaysHelp Nourish LA create abundance in our backyards by donating to Fruity Fridays! Our volunteers throughout Los Angeles visit neighbors with fruit trees and work to pick and distribute them to hungry Angelenos at our food drives. The program is currently run by direct referral, but we would like to open up our ability to more widely service our communities! To do so, we need equipment to allow our volunteer teams to harvest safely and easily, and to train up Harvest Leads to guide those volunteers. $500 outfits one team with pickers, wagons, crates, scales, and the ability to harvest confidently.  | Box TruckNourish LA has been moving large amounts of donations from food banks, organizational partners, restaurants, grocers, and more in an effort to prevent waste and feed the community. Because of the logistical issues of transporting bulk orders and pallet loads, we've been renting U-Haul trucks every week to ensure we're able to accept and move these orders with our volunteer distribution teams. Donating towards our Box Truck fundraiser in the Donation Goal drop-down above will allow us to purchase our own truck with budget for maintenance, repair, and branding.
