Join Good Karma Gardens for a Garden Party at Lokrantz Special Education Center!🌻
The Good Karma Gardens Crew will be leading a hands-on day of building something truly special. This garden is being thoughtfully designed as a restorative, sensory-rich space for the students and staff of Lokrantz Special Education Center. Serving students with diverse disabilities, the campus deserves an outdoor environment that is not only accessible, but deeply nurturing.
This isn’t just a garden, it’s an extension of the learning environment and a space for joy, regulation, and connection.
Join us for this Garden Party - Volunteers will:
Help bring the garden to life
Spread soil and mulch
Participate in planting and placing key elements that shape the space
Connect with neighbors
Expect a day that’s equal parts productive and uplifting, with a shared sense of purpose and tangible impact. It’s physical, collaborative work, but also deeply rewarding. You’ll leave knowing you helped create a lasting environment that students will experience every day.
😎 Plan to bring the good vibes, a hat, water bottle, and sunscreen.
We look forward to gardening with you! 💙🩵💜
The Garden at Lokrantz Special Education Center will offer a calm, immersive experience, filled with fragrant plantings, gentle movement, and moments of discovery. It’s a place where students can connect with nature in a way that feels safe, engaging, and meaningful. Think butterflies drifting through the air, textures to explore, and quiet corners that invite presence and ease
