Good Karma Gardens Work Day 5.09.26

On Saturday, May 9th, the Good Karma Gardens Program converted four outdoor spaces into thriving gardens that future classes of students and teachers will be able to use as spaces for learning and relaxation at LAUSD’s Lokrantz Special Education Center.

Thank you to everyone that joined us in Reseda for this day of purpose and tangible impact.  We also recognize and thank Michelle Margolin for her thoughtful design that ensured the students and teachers were put at the forefront of this project’s mission. Also, to all our food and beverages partners (Yerba Madre, Modern Bakery, & Tartine), we could not have stayed energized without the sustenance you provided.

Keep your eyes peeled for video footage of the day shot by Nadia Mendieta. It will be released on our Instagram over the coming months. We look forward to digging in with you all at upcoming workdays!
